Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and emerging scientific breakthroughs
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, quantum, biotech, and sustainable energy
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning for technological convergence points
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions using emerging tech stack
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board of directors with data-driven recommendations
- Build and manage ecosystem of academic, startup, and corporate innovation partners
- Author annual 'Future State' report forecasting industry disruption vectors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership role
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, AGI, neuromorphic chips, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of launching future-facing products or initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex system interactions
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Strong network of connections in global tech innovation ecosystems
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight or innovation strategy
