Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and organizational goals
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, sustainable systems) for strategic integration
- Lead cross-functional workshops to forecast industry shifts and prepare adaptive frameworks
- Build scenarios for technological disruptions and design mitigation/opportunity strategies
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions
- Monitor global tech policy and ethical frameworks impacting 2026+ ecosystems
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Proven experience developing multi-year tech roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Certification in foresight methodology (e.g., CFS, Foresight Practitioner)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in tech strategy publications (e.g., MIT Tech Review, WIRED)
- MBA or Master's in Technology Management, Foresight, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-tech implementation projects
