Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology adoption roadmap for emerging domains (quantum computing, neurotech, AGI interfaces)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis in exponential technologies
- Architect proof-of-concept prototypes for next-gen human-machine interaction systems
- Present strategic visions to C-suite stakeholders and industry partners
- Drive cultural transformation toward future-ready organizational capabilities
- Secure and manage $2M+ innovation budgets for experimental projects
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in deploying exponential technologies at scale
- Mastery of futures methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi techniques)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/neuro/biotech)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research in peer-reviewed technology journals
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants
- Fluency in strategic foresight frameworks (e.g., STEEP-V, causal layered analysis)
