Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead R&D initiatives for emerging tech including quantum computing, neural interfaces, and climate AI
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year adoption potential
- Partner with product teams to integrate future technologies into commercial offerings
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Build and mentor a specialized future-tech innovation team
- Establish industry partnerships for technology incubation and co-development
Qualifications
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough tech products/services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in emerging tech ecosystems (quantum, AI, biotech, sustainable tech)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex future scenarios
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Certification in technology forecasting or strategic innovation preferred
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism or innovation management
