Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ technology roadmaps aligning with business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Conduct competitive analysis and market opportunity assessments
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Oversee cross-functional innovation initiatives and pilot programs
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech leaders
- Author thought leadership positioning Horizon as a future-tech authority
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization
- Expertise in futures forecasting and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical and strategic communication skills
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MBA, MS, PhD preferred)
- Experience in high-growth tech environments
- Portfolio demonstrating successful tech-to-market transformations
