Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology roadmap with measurable impact milestones
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum-AI convergence and neural interfaces
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies through patent analysis and startup scouting
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present technology foresight briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $10M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Anticipate ethical implications and develop responsible innovation frameworks
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future-tech planning
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering with publications in Nature/Science
- Proven track record of launching technologies with >$1B market impact
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or spatial web
- Experience securing federal SBIR/STTR grants and DARPA partnerships
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for autonomous systems and AI governance
- Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts to executive audiences
