Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology roadmap for emerging sectors
- Lead research initiatives in quantum computing applications and biotech-AI convergence
- Partner with C-suite executives to align tech strategy with business objectives
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets and vendor ecosystems
- Present findings to industry boards and government tech councils
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-tech methodologies
- Identify and assess emerging technologies with 5-10 year market impact
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech leadership with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Biotechnology
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI ethics
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Experience securing government grants or venture funding for futuristic projects
- Strong network with global research institutions and tech pioneers
