Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing integration across enterprise operations
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in generative AI and neural interfaces
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human augmentation technologies
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board of directors
- Mentor a team of futurists and technology architects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI development
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough technologies with $50M+ impact
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering preferred
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Experience with technology foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
