Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping futuristic solutions (quantum algorithms, neuromorphic systems)
- Analyze emerging tech disruptions (Web4.0, biocomputing) for competitive advantage
- Secure $10M+ in R&D grants for next-gen innovation projects
- Present strategic vision to investors and board members with data-driven frameworks
- Mentor engineers in emerging technologies through our Future Tech Academy
- Establish ethical governance frameworks for autonomous systems
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ in emerging technologies (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Proven track record of launching at least two industry-disrupting products
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on future tech implications
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants (SBIR, DOE)
- Certification in Quantum Computing (IBM Qiskit or equivalent)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ futuristic concept implementations
