Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, Web3.0) to identify market opportunities for 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating new technologies into existing product ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical teams with business objectives
- Conduct competitive landscape analysis and scenario planning for 5-year tech adoption curves
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, venture capitalists, and industry consortia
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting tech deployment in 2026
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, technology consulting, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technologies (quantum, AI, blockchain, etc.)
- Proven track record of developing 5-year tech roadmaps with measurable ROI
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience presenting to C-level executives and boards of directors
- Strong network in tech innovation hubs (Silicon Valley, Boston, etc.)
- Certification in strategic foresight or technology management (e.g., CSTM) preferred
