Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology strategy and roadmap aligned with market evolution and business objectives
- Identify emerging technologies (AI, quantum, Web3, AR/VR) with disruptive potential and assess viability
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align R&D, product, and engineering teams on future initiatives
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscaping in emerging tech domains
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board with data-driven insights
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and startups to scout cutting-edge innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D, or emerging technology roles
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Proven track record of translating vision into executable product roadmaps
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into clear narratives
- Experience in high-growth tech environments (scale-ups or Fortune 500)
- Certifications in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
