Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging sectors including AI ethics, quantum integration, and neurotech interfaces
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and futurists to prototype next-gen solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 2026+ market potential
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align tech strategy with organizational vision
- Present findings to global stakeholders through white papers, TED-style talks, and industry forums
- Secure $2M+ annual R&D budgets through data-driven innovation proposals
- Mentor emerging talent in future-focused methodologies and speculative design thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in tech strategy with proven impact on product roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, AR/VR)
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier tech conferences
- Experience securing multi-million dollar innovation grants
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-forward projects implemented at scale
- Fluency in strategic foresight frameworks (e.g., Delphi, Scenario Planning)
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex concepts to diverse audiences
