Responsibilities
- Lead market research and trend analysis for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology adoption through 2026
- Collaborate with product teams to align tech initiatives with business objectives
- Present findings and recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Build partnerships with startups, research institutions, and industry consortia
- Monitor ethical implications and sustainability of future tech deployments
- Manage annual $5M+ innovation budget for pilot programs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning, consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging technology evaluation and implementation
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., AI ethics, quantum applications)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Strong analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and forecasting
- Certification in technology management (e.g., CTO, CIO) preferred
- Exceptional communication skills for executive audiences
