Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum AI, neural interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis in future-tech verticals
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build ecosystem partnerships with quantum labs and AI research institutes
- Drive patent strategy for breakthrough innovations
- Forecast market impact of emerging technologies on global industries
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning or technology consulting with Fortune 500/Silicon Valley exposure
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum computing, AI, biotech, or nanotech)
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products with >$100M ARR
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Physics, or Biotechnology (PhD preferred)
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for emerging technologies
- Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent
