Responsibilities
- Strategic Visioning: Define and communicate the long-term technical roadmap for the company's transition into 2026 and beyond, aligning technology with business goals.
- System Architecture: Design robust, scalable, and secure microservices architectures capable of handling high-volume data streams and AI model inference.
- Talent Leadership: Mentor a team of senior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- R&D Leadership: Lead Proof-of-Concept (PoC) initiatives for emerging technologies, such as edge computing and generative AI agents.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly solutions.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor system health and performance metrics, implementing CI/CD pipelines to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Future Proofing: Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to future-proof the infrastructure against evolving cyber threats.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership or architecture role.
- Technical Stack: Deep expertise in Python, Go, or Rust, and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- AI/ML Knowledge: Strong understanding of machine learning pipelines and the ability to integrate AI models into production environments.
- Leadership: Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing engineering teams.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve ambiguous problems with creative, data-driven solutions.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
