- Architect and execute multi-year technology innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping next-gen AI and quantum systems
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Drive patent development for emerging technologies (target: 15+ new filings)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive tech trends and competitive threats
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and investors
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation or R&D leadership, with 5+ in emerging tech
- Proven track record launching breakthrough products (quantum/AI preferred)
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic systems, or generative AI
- Strong background in technology forecasting and scenario planning
- Experience managing cross-continental innovation teams
- Published research in IEEE/ACM or equivalent tier journals
