Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 2026 technology innovation roadmaps aligning with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing prototype systems for quantum-encrypted communications and AI governance frameworks
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercial viability
- Secure and manage R&D partnerships with academic institutions and government labs
- Translate technical capabilities into patentable intellectual property and competitive moats
- Present strategic technology briefings to C-suite stakeholders and venture capital partners
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven commercialization success
- Expertise in at least two of these domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or climate-tech modeling
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience securing $5M+ in innovation grants or venture funding
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Physics (PhD preferred)
