Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmap Development: Define and execute the long-term technological vision for Horizon Systems, focusing on the specific needs and trends of the 2026 landscape.
- R&D Leadership: Spearhead experimental projects in emerging fields, evaluating their viability for integration into our commercial products.
- Talent Acquisition & Mentorship: Recruit top-tier engineering talent and mentor senior architects to foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate complex technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders, including investors and executive leadership, to secure buy-in for future initiatives.
- Competitive Analysis: Monitor global tech trends and competitor movements to identify gaps in the market and opportunities for technological differentiation.
- Prototyping & Validation: Hands-on involvement in building high-fidelity prototypes to validate new concepts before full-scale implementation.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in software engineering or product management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or architect role.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in high-level languages such as Python, Go, or Rust, with deep knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and cloud infrastructure.
- Future-Proofing: Demonstrated ability to anticipate and leverage emerging technologies (e.g., Web3, AR/VR, Edge Computing) early in their adoption cycle.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is highly preferred.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to deconstruct complex problems into scalable, actionable solutions.
- Communication: Strong presentation skills with the ability to translate abstract concepts into tangible business value.
