Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies and market opportunities through 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps for product innovation aligned with 5-year technological forecasts
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate future-focused initiatives into corporate strategy
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-driven decision frameworks
- Present visionary concepts to stakeholders including VCs, government partners, and industry consortiums
- Build and mentor a team of futurists, data scientists, and technical architects
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, product development, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching future-facing products with $10M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong background in at least two of: AI/ML, biotech, quantum computing, or climate tech
- Certification in Foresight or Strategic Innovation (preferred)
- Experience working with federal innovation initiatives (e.g., CHIPS Act, NSF grants)
