Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Answer and screen incoming phone calls with a polite and helpful tone, taking accurate messages when necessary.
- Manage the front desk area, ensuring it remains organized, clean, and welcoming at all times.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries efficiently.
- Perform basic data entry, filing, and document management tasks to support office operations.
- Assist with scheduling meetings, booking conference rooms, and managing calendars for senior staff.
- Order and maintain office supplies and snacks to keep the break area stocked.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required; additional business school or receptionist certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative support role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and basic computer navigation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while being a team player.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to adhere to a consistent schedule.
