Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and neurotech domains
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AR/VR, decentralized networks, synthetic biology)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and global research consortia
- Author thought leadership publications on future tech trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or blockchain
- Proven track record of launching commercialized tech innovations
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Published research or patents in emerging technology domains
