Responsibilities
- Accurately input, verify, and update customer and company information into various database systems and spreadsheets.
- Perform regular quality assurance checks to ensure 100% data accuracy and error-free reporting.
- Digitize physical documents and transcribe handwritten notes into digital formats efficiently.
- Sort, file, and manage physical and electronic records in an organized manner.
- Assist the administrative team with general clerical duties and answering phones when necessary.
- Respond to data inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business or data management is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk or in a similar administrative role (1+ years preferred).
- Excellent typing speed (minimum 45 WPM) with high accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and Word.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors quickly.
- Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office setup (if remote, though this role is onsite).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
