Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a 2026+ strategic foresight framework using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional teams in identifying and validating disruptive technologies with 5-10 year market impact
- Present quarterly future-state briefings to the board and executive leadership
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs to capture cutting-edge innovations
- Design and oversee the 'Horizon 2026' innovation incubator program
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging megatrends
- Integrate future-proofing principles into corporate strategy and product development
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or technology R&D leadership
- Proven track record of predicting and commercializing emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to distill complex futures into actionable strategies
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Published thought leadership in industry journals or major media outlets
- Global network of futurists, scientists, and tech pioneers
