Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum machine learning algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional research teams in developing AI ethics frameworks for 2026 deployment
- Author peer-reviewed publications and secure NSF/NASA grants
- Prototype AI solutions for climate modeling and sustainable energy systems
- Mentor PhD candidates and organize quarterly tech symposia
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum-AI integration
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Published work in Nature/Science or equivalent AI/quantum conferences
- Expertise in quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq) and deep learning architectures
- Strong Python/C++ proficiency with PyTorch/TensorFlow optimization skills
- Demonstrated experience securing federal research grants
- Knowledgeable in AI governance frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF)
- Experience mentoring graduate researchers
