Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel deep learning architectures for natural language processing and computer vision applications
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and neuromorphic computing
- Publish findings in top-tier journals (NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR) and present at industry conferences
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate research into scalable production systems
- Secure external funding through NSF grants and DARPA partnerships
- Mentor PhD interns and junior researchers in advanced AI methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, or related field with 3+ years of industry research experience
- Published 5+ papers in top-tier AI conferences (NeurIPS/ICML/CVPR)
- Expertise in PyTorch/TensorFlow and distributed ML frameworks
- Proven track record of deploying production-grade AI systems at scale
- Strong mathematical foundations in linear algebra, calculus, and probability
- Experience with quantum computing libraries (Qiskit, Cirq) preferred
- Ability to secure research grants and intellectual property
