Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI ethics governance frameworks for autonomous decision-making systems
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments across machine learning pipelines
- Lead stakeholder workshops to align technical teams with ethical guidelines
- Develop real-time monitoring systems for ethical compliance in production AI
- Author policy whitepapers for regulatory bodies including IEEE and NIST
- Partner with quantum computing teams to ensure ethical constraints in next-gen AI
- Mentor junior engineers on responsible AI development practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in AI governance, ML ethics, or responsible tech development
- Expertise in bias mitigation techniques for deep learning models
- Published work on AI ethics or experience with regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA)
- Proficiency in Python for ethical auditing tools and fairness metrics
- Experience working with Fortune 500 AI ethics committees
