Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics governance frameworks aligned with NIST AI RMF and EU AI Act standards
- Conduct algorithmic bias audits and fairness assessments across ML pipelines
- Lead cross-functional teams to embed ethical considerations into product development lifecycles
- Advise C-suite on ethical implications of AI deployment strategies and regulatory compliance
- Design and maintain transparency documentation for high-stakes AI systems
- Establish stakeholder engagement protocols for diverse community input on AI impact
- Monitor emerging AI ethics legislation and translate requirements into operational controls
- Drive organizational culture shift through ethics training and awareness programs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in AI governance, data ethics, or responsible AI implementation
- Expertise in bias detection techniques and fairness metrics for ML models
- Deep knowledge of global AI regulations (GDPR, AI Act, NIST framework)
- Proven ability to translate ethical principles into technical requirements
- Experience leading cross-functional ethics initiatives in tech environments
- Strong analytical skills for complex ethical dilemma resolution
- Certification in AI ethics (e.g., IEEE, ACM, or equivalent) preferred
