You'll architect governance frameworks that balance innovation with societal impact, ensuring our AI systems advance humanity while safeguarding privacy, fairness, and accountability. This executive role reports directly to our Chief Technology Officer and will drive industry standards in ethical AI deployment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics policies aligned with 2026 regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional audits of AI systems for bias, transparency, and compliance
- Establish stakeholder engagement protocols for ethical AI decision-making
- Drive research on emerging ethical challenges in generative AI and autonomous systems
- Represent the company in global AI ethics forums and regulatory discussions
- Train engineering teams on ethical AI development practices and impact assessments
- Report annually on AI ethics metrics to the board and executive team
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, AI, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in AI governance, compliance, or ethics leadership roles
- Deep expertise in EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and emerging 2026 frameworks
- Proven experience designing bias mitigation and fairness validation protocols
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Published research or thought leadership on AI ethics and societal impact
- Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, or autonomous systems preferred)
