Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI ethics governance frameworks aligned with IEEE 7000 and EU AI Act standards
- Conduct algorithmic bias audits using advanced fairness metrics (e.g., disparate impact analysis)
- Develop transparency protocols for explainable AI (XAI) systems deployed in high-stakes domains
- Collaborate with product teams to embed ethical requirements into MLOps pipelines
- Produce comprehensive impact assessments for generative AI and autonomous decision systems
- Advocate for responsible AI adoption through stakeholder workshops and policy briefings
- Monitor emerging regulatory landscapes and update governance protocols accordingly
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 3+ years experience in AI ethics, responsible AI, or technology governance roles
- Proficiency with bias detection tools (e.g., IBM Fairness 360, Aequitas) and ML frameworks
- Deep understanding of global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST RMF, etc.)
- Strong technical writing skills with ability to translate ethical concepts for engineering teams
- Experience conducting algorithmic impact assessments for real-world deployments
- Certification in AI governance (e.g., IBM AI Ethics, Google Responsible AI) highly valued
