Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce AI ethics governance frameworks aligned with IEEE 7000 and EU AI Act standards
- Conduct bias audits and impact assessments for machine learning models before deployment
- Lead cross-functional working groups to establish ethical AI design principles
- Create transparency documentation and explainability protocols for high-stakes AI systems
- Monitor evolving regulatory landscapes and update compliance protocols proactively
- Train engineering teams on ethical AI development practices and responsible data handling
- Represent the company at industry forums shaping global AI governance standards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Law, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in AI governance, compliance, or responsible tech development
- Deep knowledge of EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and global AI ethics frameworks
- Experience conducting bias audits and algorithmic impact assessments
- Proficiency in Python and statistical analysis tools for bias detection
- Certification in AI Ethics or Responsible AI (e.g., IBM, Google, or Microsoft)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating ethical AI governance implementations
