Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive AI ethics governance frameworks for quantum computing applications
- Lead cross-functional audits of AI systems for bias mitigation, transparency, and accountability
- Develop policy recommendations for regulatory compliance and ethical AI deployment
- Coordinate with research teams to embed ethical safeguards into AI development lifecycles
- Represent the organization in industry coalitions and policy discussions on AI ethics
- Create educational materials and training programs for internal stakeholders on responsible AI
- Monitor emerging ethical challenges in AI and proactively develop mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, AI, or related field with 5+ years of experience
- Deep expertise in AI ethics frameworks, bias detection, and algorithmic accountability
- Proven experience developing governance policies for high-impact AI systems
- Strong understanding of quantum computing principles and their ethical implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Track record of publishing in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience working with regulatory bodies and standards organizations (NIST, IEEE, etc.)
