Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical audit protocols for AI decision-making systems
- Develop bias detection algorithms using adversarial testing methodologies
- Create transparency frameworks for explainable AI (XAI) deployments
- Establish governance protocols for autonomous system risk assessment
- Lead cross-functional workshops on responsible AI development practices
- Conduct ongoing ethical impact assessments for new AI capabilities
- Advise product teams on regulatory compliance (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks)
- Research emerging ethical challenges in generative AI and deepfakes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Philosophy, Ethics, or related field
- 3+ years building or auditing machine learning systems at scale
- Expertise in fairness metrics (disparate impact, equalized odds) and mitigation techniques
- Proficient with Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow)
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 42071 and IEEE 7000 standards
- Experience with adversarial ML and robustness testing
- Strong background in ethical philosophy or applied ethics
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex ethical concepts into technical requirements
