Responsibilities
- Design and maintain AI ethics governance frameworks aligned with ISO/IEC 42001 standards
- Conduct algorithmic impact assessments for high-stakes AI applications
- Train engineering teams on responsible AI development practices
- Partner with legal teams to ensure compliance with emerging AI regulations
- Lead stakeholder engagement initiatives for AI transparency initiatives
- Publish thought leadership on AI ethics in industry publications
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, or related field with 5+ years AI governance experience
- Proven track record implementing ethics frameworks in Fortune 500 tech environments
- Deep expertise in algorithmic bias detection and mitigation techniques
- Familiarity with EU AI Act, NIST AI Risk Management Framework, and global AI regulations
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience with ML model auditing tools (e.g., IBM AI Fairness 360, Google What-If Tool)
