Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum-resistant cryptography and AGI governance frameworks
- Lead R&D initiatives in neuromorphic computing and biologically-inspired AI systems
- Architect scalable solutions for edge-cloud convergence and distributed ledger applications
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging threats and opportunities in post-quantum security
- Collaborate with policymakers on ethical AI standards and autonomous system regulations
- Mentor interdisciplinary teams in sustainable tech design and circular economy principles
- Publish thought leadership in IEEE and Nature journals on 2026 technology trends
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Engineering, or Futurist Studies (or equivalent experience)
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and post-quantum cryptography standards
- Proven track record in scaling enterprise-level distributed systems (>10M users)
- Published research in top-tier journals on AI ethics or sustainable technology
- Experience with neuromorphic hardware (IBM TrueNorth, Loihi) and photonic computing
- Deep understanding of ISO/IEC 42001 AI management frameworks
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow Quantum, and quantum circuit simulation tools
- Certification in Futurology (WFS) or Technology Foresight (EU Foresight)
