Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market predictions
- Lead cross-disciplinary innovation sprints for quantum computing and AI integration
- Conduct scenario planning for emerging tech disruptions (Web4, Neural Interfaces, etc.)
- Partner with C-suite to translate futuristic concepts into actionable business strategies
- Establish ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and biometric technologies
- Represent the company at global tech summits and policy discussions
- Mentor emerging talent in future-focused R&D methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with proven impact on 5+ year roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Published research in IEEE/ACM journals on technology forecasting
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Demonstrated success in securing $5M+ R&D budgets for speculative projects
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Horizon scanning, backcasting)
- Track record of commercializing future-facing technologies
