Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps for 2026+ horizon, focusing on AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-disciplinary innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Partner with C-suite executives to align innovation initiatives with long-term business strategy
- Establish KPIs and success metrics for futuristic technology adoption
- Present findings to stakeholders through compelling visualizations and scenario planning
- Build and mentor an internal innovation lab focused on next-generation capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management
- Proven track record of developing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Strong background in scenario planning and futures research methodologies
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex innovation cycles
- Published thought leadership in technology or futurism (patents, whitepapers, keynotes)
- MSc/PhD in relevant field or equivalent demonstrable expertise
