- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, bio-AI, spatial computing) for competitive advantage
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding through grant proposals and investor partnerships
- Present strategic technology briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish industry partnerships with academic institutions and tech giants
- Mentor junior researchers in emerging technology methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field (Master's with exceptional experience)
- 8+ years in advanced R&D or technology strategy leadership
- Published research in quantum computing or neural interfaces (3+ peer-reviewed papers)
- Proven track record of scaling tech innovations from lab to market
- Expertise in systems thinking and complex adaptive technologies
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and executive audiences
- Experience with federal R&D funding (DARPA, NSF, DOE) preferred
