Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum AI, neuromorphic computing, Web4.0) and synthesize actionable insights
- Develop 5-year technology adoption roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruptions
- Architect proof-of-concept frameworks for next-gen systems (decentralized identity, autonomous AI agents)
- Partner with C-suite to integrate future-tech strategies into product roadmaps and capital planning
- Establish innovation metrics to track progress toward 2026 technological milestones
- Represent company at global tech summits and publish thought leadership on future trends
- Mentor R&D teams in rapid prototyping and ethical tech implementation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting with Fortune 500 exposure
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, blockchain)
- Proven track record of launching disruptive tech initiatives with measurable ROI
- Published thought leadership or patents in future technologies (IEEE, ACM, Nature)
- MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex technological ecosystems
- Experience scaling innovation programs from concept to commercialization
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic innovation (preferred)
