Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps mapping quantum computing adoption, neural interface integration, and decentralized AI frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen human-computer interaction systems
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with transformative potential (2026-2030)
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous decision-making systems in regulated industries
- Present strategic technology briefings to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Collaborate with MIT Media Lab and NASA JPL on experimental research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Information Theory, or Futurist Studies (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in technology strategy with proven impact on disruptive product launches
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science) on quantum or neural systems
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep understanding of post-quantum cryptography and swarm robotics principles
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ technology commercializations with >$100M revenue impact
- Security clearance eligibility (DOD/NSA preferred)
