Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with 2026+ impact potential
- Develop and publish annual '2026 Tech Vision' strategic roadmap for executive stakeholders
- Direct cross-functional R&D projects in agile sprints, ensuring alignment with future market needs
- Partner with product teams to prototype and validate 2026-viable solutions
- Represent the company at global tech summits and publish thought leadership on future trends
- Mentor innovation labs and foster a culture of experimental prototyping
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation, product development, or strategic consulting
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products (post-2025 roadmap experience preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, or synthetic biology)
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite boards and investors
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research or patents in forward-looking technology domains
