Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology roadmap, aligning with long-term business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) for strategic integration
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-forward solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to anticipate industry disruptions
- Present strategic technology forecasts to executive leadership and investors
- Build and manage partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Drive innovation culture through thought leadership and internal workshops
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or futurism roles
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, climate tech, biotech convergence, or decentralized systems
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Strong experience with stakeholder management across C-suite levels
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals
- Portfolio demonstrating future-focused projects or research
