- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers, patents, and keynote presentations at global tech forums
- Manage a $5M innovation budget with accountability for ROI on experimental projects
- Mentor a team of 12 futurists and engineers through complex technology transitions
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting future technology deployment landscapes
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or Bioengineering with 10+ years in emerging tech
- Published research in at least two of: quantum algorithms, AGI safety, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of commercializing future-forward technologies (patents preferred)
- Expertise in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning) for technology forecasting
- Experience managing global teams across 3+ time zones with cultural fluency
- Deep understanding of ethical frameworks for exponential technologies
