- Identify and evaluate emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, bio-integrated AI) for commercial viability
- Architect cross-functional R&D initiatives with $5M+ annual innovation budget
- Present disruptive technology proposals to board of directors and venture partners
- Mentor a team of 12+ engineers and data scientists through agile development cycles
- Establish KPIs for technology ROI and market disruption impact
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in CTO/CTB/CIO leadership roles
- Proven track record launching 3+ industry-defining products with >$100M revenue impact
- Expertise in AI/ML frameworks, quantum computing principles, and sustainable tech architecture
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature Technology journals
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent demonstrable innovation portfolio
- Fluency in Mandarin or Japanese for global tech ecosystem partnerships
- SC cleared security clearance (or ability to obtain)
