Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies and global trends impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop scenario-based strategic plans and innovation roadmaps for board-level approval
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future opportunities and risks
- Produce whitepapers and executive briefings on disruptive forces in AI, biotech, and climate tech
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness and track progress against long-term strategic goals
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight ecosystem
- Represent FutureWorks at global innovation forums and thought leadership summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or future-focused roles
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from the Association of Professional Futurists)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation domains
