Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for 5-10 year horizons
- Present executive briefings on future risk/opportunity landscapes and strategic implications
- Architect innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections and competitive landscapes
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate foresight into product development pipelines
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Produce annual 'State of the Future' reports with actionable executive recommendations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills with data visualization capabilities
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication expertise
- Deep understanding of AI, quantum computing, biotechnology, and climate tech trajectories
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight (portfolio required)
