Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks using quantitative modeling and qualitative trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and marketing teams
- Develop scenario-based roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Interface with C-suite executives to embed futuristic insights into corporate strategy
- Build and maintain an external network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Translate complex foresight data into actionable business recommendations
- Lead annual 'Future State' workshops with key stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-ready business strategies
- Expertise in trend analysis tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal impacts
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented strategic initiatives
