Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum computing roadmaps targeting 2026 commercial viability
- Lead 12-person research team in quantum algorithm development for cryptography and AI
- Secure $5M+ in DARPA/NASA grants for quantum research initiatives
- Develop error-correction protocols enabling fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Partner with IBM Quantum Network on hardware-software integration
- Publish quarterly breakthrough studies in Nature/Science journals
- Present findings at World Quantum Computing Summit 2025
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science with 5+ years industry research
- Published 10+ peer-reviewed quantum computing papers
- Expertise in Qiskit/Cirq frameworks and quantum circuit optimization
- Successful grant writing record securing $3M+ in federal funding
- Experience leading R&D teams through commercialization milestones
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and topological qubits
- Patents in quantum error correction or quantum machine learning
