Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum-AI research roadmaps targeting 2026 technological milestones
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum physicists and ML engineers
- Develop proprietary quantum algorithms for unsupervised learning
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants and partnerships
- Publish findings in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Drive commercialization of quantum-AI solutions for Fortune 500 clients
- Maintain compliance with NIST quantum security frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or AI research
- Proven track record of securing federal research grants (NSF/DOE)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Published work on quantum machine learning or quantum error correction
- Experience leading R&D teams of 10+ researchers
- Deep understanding of 2026 quantum hardware roadmap (IBM, Google, IonQ)
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
