Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year roadmaps for emerging tech sectors including quantum AI, neural interfaces, and climate engineering
- Lead cross-functional teams of futurists, engineers, and venture capitalists to incubate moonshot projects
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies with global impact potential
- Design ethical frameworks for next-gen AI and biotechnology systems
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and industry consortiums
- Manage $10M+ annual innovation portfolio with measurable ROI metrics
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning or innovation management with Fortune 500 or scaling tech
- Proven track record of launching technologies with $100M+ market impact
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex socio-technical ecosystems
- Published thought leadership in innovation or technology forecasting
- Experience with scenario planning and foresight methodologies
