Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps across AI, biotech, and quantum computing domains
- Lead cross-functional sprints to prototype future-facing products and services
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging trends and disruptors
- Design strategic frameworks for ethical technology implementation
- Present futures scenarios to executive leadership and investment committees
- Collaborate with MIT Media Lab and Singularity University on research initiatives
- Build and mentor a team of futurists and innovation analysts
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic innovation, product development, or futures research
- Proven track record of launching future-facing products (2018-2023)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: generative AI, synthetic biology, quantum computing
- Published thought leadership in Harvard Business Review or similar
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., GBN's Scenario Planning Methodology)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
- Fluency in futures forecasting methodologies (Delphi, causal layered analysis)
